Joseph Farrell Architecture is a custom residential design firm founded in 1995. From its beginning the firm’s focus has always been to create unique, artfully crafted homes that are also environmentally sensitive. Projects include new homes, addition/remodels and historical restorations. Designs emphasize balance, proportion, light and connection to the outdoors. On addition/remodel projects, JFA prides itself in designing new construction that blends with existing to create a home that looks truly original.

Principal and founding architect Joseph Farrell earned his Bachelor's Degree in Architecture at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo in 1990. In addition to architectural design, he has an extensive background in planning, engineering, construction and green building. The firm has built strong relationships with builders, engineers and governmental agencies, allowing projects to proceed efficiently.

In addition to being a California Licensed Architect, Joseph Farrell is both a Certified Green Building Professional and a GreenPoint Rater in affiliation with Build It Green.
