Country Club Residence, Addition/Remodel Project, Novato CA
Like many homes located in Novato’s Country Club neighborhood, this home originally built in the 1960's didn’t meet the requirements of today’s lifestyle. The existing home had small bedrooms, a small kitchen, an un-efficient floor plan and a poor relationship to the rear-yard along the golf course. Through the course of design, the home was completely reorganized and updated. Improvements include a new formal entry with vaulted ceilings, a new separate living room, a kitchen/family rooms which seamlessly flows to the exterior deck and pool, a new master bedroom suite. The completed project resulted in a new custom home that has the modern looks and functionality of feature homes for the distinctive country club neighborhood.
