Much attention lately has been placed upon sustainable and efficient design, giving birth to the “Green” movement.  Green buildings are designed, constructed and maintained to enhance the lives of their occupants and to create healthy communities by being energy efficient, improving indoor air quality and conserving natural resources.

Green Point Rater:
In addition to providing architectural services, Joseph Farrell is also a Build It Green Certified GreenPoint Rater. GreenPoint Rating is an independent verification of a home’s green building features and benefits. This allows homeowners, developers and contractors to have their project evaluated to quantify how green their building is. Certification from the Build It Green organization will officially document and verify that your building meets the program’s standards for high performance. While clients may choose to have this certification for personal reasons or to market a property, many governmental agencies are now requiring the GreenPoint Rated system through their municipal codes.
